Don't Praise Yourself

This morning I am going to write about a verse that I read yesterday morning during my quiet time. It is Proverbs 27:2, "Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth: A stranger, and not your own lips." I think that, that verse is a really great verse to remember because I know that I find myself sometimes saying, "Oh, but I've gotten better at that this week." It still isn't okay to say that because if someone has noticed that you have done good that week they will tell you. I need to remember that because I do find myself telling people that I have been doing better at that. I'm going to try to work on that. The Lord showed me that verse for a reason and I need to listen to him. I pray that you all would try not to do this either and that we can all be praising each other.
I hope this encourages you and that you will have a wonderful day!

Ephesians 4:1-5

Today I am gong to write about Ephesians 4:1-5. This is a passage that we memorized about 4 months ago. This is a really encouraging passage. It says, "I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all who is above all , and trough all, and in you all."

I really like that passage because it is really a verse that I can remember for all things because it is our calling of how we should live our lives. He is talking about the prisoner of the Lord, (That's Me), we need to walk with all of the fruits of the spirit and also with one another in love. I need to remember Ephesians 4 when I go to say something and remember that I need to walk worthy of the calling. My calling is to honor and glorify my God everyday of my life and to live for him. Let's all keep this beautiful passage in our minds at all times. I have been thinking on this for about a day because I have been struggling with a couple of little things. Pray for me that I would be humble and listen to wisdom that is given to me.

My New Puppy

Well, here is how the story began, on Saturday we went to the Selma Flea Market. So, after we went there Uncle Jim's Mom had to run into the store to get some things. Auntie Tracey and I go into Tractor Supply and then we see 4 little puppies. I picked one up and of course fell in love with her. So, I went outside and told my mom and she said let me see. We brought the puppy out to her and then we asked how much they were and she said free to a good home. I didn't know if I could take on the responsability. I decided to wait and pray on it to see if I could do it or not. We got home that night and I showed Tyler picture of her on my Mom's phone and he fell in love with her. He said, "Why didn't you get her? I would have helped take care of her." I called the lady back and the lady said that she would hold the dog for me, so, I went and picked her up on Monday and we named her Daisy Grace. She is the cutest little puppy and I will get some pictures and put them on my blog so you can see them.
I hope you have a great day.

Road Trip Crew Home Safe

Hello,

On Monday us and the Tsantles' went to Asheville, NC. We actually surprised Taylor and went there. They were all in the Ridgecrest Convention Center checking it out for the conference. So, we got there and went and his in one of the RV's and then Mr. Brown told Taylor to go get his phone for him. So, he went to go get it and we were all in the RV to surprise him. We hung out at the conference for the night and then went to Hickory where Uncle Jim had some work that he needed to do. We went out to lunch on Wednesday and then the boys headed home from Greensboro with all of the kids. Us ladies and Emmi went to Old Time Pottery in Greensboro and then headed home. That was our fun little trip. We had fun with everybody. I hope that you enjoy this fun story as there is never a dull moment around here.
