Fear the Lord

Good Morning!

This morning I was reading my Bible and I read Proverbs 8-9. In Proverbs 8:13 it talks about fearing the Lord. The verse says, "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate." Also is Proverbs 9:10 says, " The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." I know I need to fear the Lord more. You can pray for me in that area. We all could probably be praying for each other in this area!! I hope this encourages you today as it has for me. Have a blessed day and if I can pray for you in any way just leave a comment or email me at britsy94@gmail.com

God is Kind

Hello,

I just wanted to give a little encouragement. I was reading a couple Psalms this morning and God is kind to us even though we are disobedient and rebellious at times. I thought of how gracious he is to us and how loving. He is such a wonderful God to serve and follow. Keep your eyes on the Lord!!!

Have a wonderful day!!

God is Our Law Giver

Good Morning!!!!

I have a wonderful verse to share with you this morning! It is Proverbs 7:1-5, which says, "My son, keep my words, And treasure my commands within you. Keep my commands within you. Keep my commands and lives, And y law as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart. Say to wisdom, "You are my sister," And call understanding your nearest kin, That they may keep you from the immoral woman, From the seductress who flatters with her words." This verse tells us that we need to do all of these things unto the Lord. He gave us the Bible as the Law. We are to follow it and keep his commands. I want this to bless everybody and I pray that you Lord convicts you as he has me in this area. Have a blessed day. How can I pray for you today? Leave me a comment or email me at britsy94@gmail.com.

Homemade Bread

Hello,

Yesterday I ran into a little problem. I was supposed to make bread to go with our dinner. I looked at the clock and it was 4 o' clock. I was supposed to start bread by 2:30 to have it fresh for dinner. I did panic a little bit but I searched for a fast wheat bread recipe and I found the perfect one. It rises for 15 minutes and bakes for 30 minutes. It was so nice. This recipe was extremely easy!!!I would very much recommend using it. I'll put the link at the bottom of the post.

Today, I decided to make some for both of our neighbors. I made two loaves and they turned out so pretty. I'm so happy I found this quick recipe that I can make bread in a little over an hour.

I hope you enjoyed these beautiful loaves of bread. I surely did because for the last three years my bread hasn't risen like this. I was overly excited when I saw it rising and it never flopped. My bread always flops. Not anymore. I've made it twice and It hasn't flopped. Here is the link:savoryseasonings.blogspot.com/2009/07/fast-and-easy-whole-wheat-bread.html

Psalm 76

Good Morning!

I was reading Psalm 76 and just loved it because its all about "The Majesty of God in Judgement." It is such a beautiful, poetic Psalm. Here it is:

"In Judah God is known; His name is great in Israel. In Salem also is His tabernacle, And His dwelling place in Zion. There He Broke the arrows of the bow, The shields and sword of battle. You are more glorious and excellent than the mountains of pray, The stouthearted were ;plundered; They have sunk into their sleep And none of the mighty men have found the use of their hands. At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both the chariot and horse were cast into a dead sleep. You, Yourself, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your presence When once you are angry? You caused judgement to be heard from heaven; The earth feared and was still, When God arose to judgement, To deliver all the oppressed of the earth. Selah Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; With the remainder of wrath you shall gird Yourself. Make vows to the Lord your God, and pay them; Let all who are around Him bring presents to Him who ought to be feared. He shall cut off the spirit of princes; He is awesome to the kings of the earth."

I hope you enjoy this. Leave me a comment to let me know what you think of the beautifully written Psalm.

Have a Blessed day!!!

In Christ,
